Greetings and salutations to all who have stopped by with the intent of reading my latest monthly contribution to the Insecure Writer's Support Group, only to find nothing of substance or import to read beyond this post.
The past few weeks have been a serious struggle for me on the home front, mainly with work related issues (unfortunately) taking up the bulk of my down time and not family related issues (fortunately). Because of those struggles, it's been a real you-know-what (pick your own select adjective to insert) just to get any kind of blog post written.
Therefore, no monthly post for IWSG today, and perhaps none for December, which in turn will have me go on a short hiatus from this very cool blog hop. Nothing is etched in stone for December though, but life sometimes has a way of making you prioritize the various issues in your day-to-day existence.
Thanks for stopping by to read my various monthly IWSG ramblings, and if you like what you've read here, either monthly or weekly, please check out my Amazon and Smashwords pages for some quality self-published goodies, or my book blog if you dig the personal touch.

Thank you sir, and thanks for stopping by.
DeleteI'd count this as an IWSG post.
ReplyDeleteHope the work front settles.
I'm hoping so too. I really to find a happy place right now.
DeleteSometimes life just has to come first ahead of blogging. Crazy, I know, but hey.
ReplyDeleteThat it does, young lady, that it does.
DeleteI like Debra's comment. :) Yes - sometimes you just have to put your life before blogging.
ReplyDeleteit's really starting to get to that point. Blogging used to be a great release for me. But now, with the all the work related issues going on, blogging (and writing) has to go on the back burner until I can get things under control. I'm just not sure if I really want to slice that connection just yet.
DeleteWell, that's the reality of life, mate. I understand where you're coming from. Hope things get better at work.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from London.
I'm hoping so too. Thanks.
DeleteHang in there!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteThis week has been hell at work as well. Fortunately, my wife has helped me pick up the slack at home.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear of it. One of my few saving graces has been the family. Just a few words exchanged makes each and every day bearable.
DeleteLike others I'd say this was a pretty good #IWSG post. Maybe one of the best I've read.
