I Too Can So Write!: 1/25/17

A brand new post is up at I Are Writer!, which covers a few more tangents/components that went into the creation of my novella, The Friendship Has Begun. Please feel free to leave a comment here about it, since Tumblr makes it nigh on impossible to leave one there.

On a lighter note, here is a very short example of why you don't need a diploma to be a grocery store bagger. Bought four items for lunch last weekend and had them bagged. Bagger then asked if I needed a handheld basket to carry my four item bag out to my car. And no, this was not a developmentally disabled worker, who has more sense than to ask something like that.

  1. Hey GB, if you ever need some realistic editorial advice on lesbian sex scenes, just let me know!

    1. If you're serious about the offer, I will take you up on it. It's always a fine line between writing erotica and writing porn.

    3. Excellent. I actually do appreciate getting advice from people who know more about certain things/concepts that I write about, simply because I like my stories to be as accurate as they can be.

    1. I will give him credit for that, and I give myself credit for not making him look like a fool in front of his co-workers with an elaborated response.

  3. Never having been so inclined for girl on girl action, I only would have to assume foreplay to be much the same as in heterosexual activity.

    1. Pretty much, but it's the actual doing that can be hard to write. Especially if you haven't personally experienced it (which I can't) or read anything about it (which I haven't read yet). I always like to research certain things/concepts whenever I'm tackling something that I have either minimal or zero knowledge of.

  4. I try not to notice such events as I pass through life. Not enough brain power to process them all.

    1. It's my nature to people watch. Started doing it in high school and still do it to this day. No processing is required, just an empty brain to observe my surroundings. Only turn my brain on when something piques my curiosity.

These days, the written word is to die for, so please leave a comment that shows me and everyone else the real you. All kinds of verbiage will be cheerfully accepted in the spirit it was written.
